Who is Annie Murphy?

Annie Murphy is a Canadian actress best known for her role as Alexis Rose in the sitcom Schitt's Creek. She has also worked on other television shows such as Rookie Blue, Flashpoint, and Good God, and has appeared in theater productions. Murphy won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in 2020 and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Comedy Series in 2021 for her work on Schitt's Creek. She also wrote, produced, and acted in The Plateaus, a CBC web series.
