Domantas Sabonis is not a commercial actor but a professional basketball player. Born on May 3, 1996, in Portland, Oregon, Sabonis is the son of former NBA player Arvydas Sabonis. Domantas is a Lithuanian-American basketball player who currently plays as a power forward/center for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Sabonis began his college career playing for Gonzaga University, where he quickly established himself as a dominant force. During his sophomore year, he was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Year after averaging 17.6 points, 11.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. As a result, Sabonis declared for the NBA draft and was selected as the 11th overall pick by the Orlando Magic in 2016.
Sabonis was quickly traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder, where he spent his first two seasons in the NBA showing excellent potential as a rebounder and physical power forward. However, in 2017, he was traded to the Indiana Pacers, where he found his true home.
