Who is Gaspard Ulliel?

Gaspard Ulliel is a French actor known for a number of his prominent roles in both French and international cinema. Born in Boulogne-Billancourt, a suburb of Paris, on November 25th, 1984, Ulliel began his acting career in the late 1990s at the age of 12.

One of the most notable roles which brought him into the limelight as a commercial actor was his performance in the Chanel No. 5 fragrance advertisement directed by Martin Scorsese. The commercial received widespread acclaim and brought Ulliel to international prominence in 2004.

Ulliel’s acting career further skyrocketed with his portrayal of the disturbed teenager in "Strayed" (Les Égarés) directed by André Téchiné.
