John J. Concado was a renowned commercial actor in the United States, who made a name for himself by appearing in countless television and radio ads. He was born on July 28, 1926, in the city of New York. Concado started his career in the entertainment industry as a stage actor in the early 1950s and quickly transitioned to working in commercials by the mid-1950s.

Over the course of his long and illustrious career, Concado became a household name for his famous slogans and memorable ad campaigns. His most famous commercials include "Nobody doesn't like Sara Lee," "Choosy mothers choose Jif," and "I can't believe I ate the whole thing" for Alka-Seltzer. He also starred in ads for some of the biggest brands like Coca-Cola, Maxwell House Coffee, Listerine, and many others.

Concado's unique look and distinctive voice made him a hit with advertisers, and he capitalized on his success by branching out into other areas of the entertainment industry. He appeared in several TV shows and films throughout the years, notably on "The Honeymooners" and "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis." He was also a regular on the "The Ed Sullivan Show."
