Who is Kyle Lowry?

Kyle Lowry is an NBA All-Star and a commercial actor known for his exceptional skills on the basketball court as well as his charismatic persona off it. He was born on March 25, 1986, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and became interested in basketball at a young age. Lowry attended Cardinal Dougherty High School in Philadelphia, where he was recognized as one of the top point guards in the country.

After high school, Lowry played college basketball for two years at Villanova University before declaring for the NBA draft in 2006. He was selected by the Memphis Grizzlies with the 24th overall pick in the first round. After spending a few seasons as a backup point guard for the Grizzlies, Lowry was traded to the Houston Rockets in 2009.
