Who is Leanza Sojor?
Leanza Sjöberg, also known as Leanza Cornett, was an American actress and television host. However, she was best known for her work as a commercial actor. Born on June 22, 1971, in Norfolk, Virginia, Leanza began her career in the entertainment industry when she participated in the 1993 Miss America pageant, representing Florida. She went on to win the Miss America title that same year.
After her win, Leanza Sojor went on to appear in several commercials for brands such as Chap Stick, Clairol, and Johnson & Johnson. Her most notable commercial role was as the "Aflac Duck," featuring in several advertisements for the insurance company. Leanza also had appearances on popular TV shows such as "Melrose Place" and "CSI."
Leanza had a successful career in the entertainment industry, which spanned over two decades. She was also known for her charity work, supporting organizations such as the March of Dimes and the Children's Miracle Network.
Tragically, Leanza Sojor passed away on October 28, 2020, at the age of 49, from a head injury sustained in a fall. Her passing was mourned by the entertainment industry, and she was remembered as a talented actress, host, and philanthropist.
