Who is Matty Beniers?
Matty Beniers is an American professional ice hockey center who plays for the Seattle Kraken of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was the second overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft and was the first-ever draft pick for the Seattle Kraken. He was born on November 5, 2002, in Hingham, Massachusetts, USA. In the 2022-23 season, Beniers won the Calder Memorial Trophy, which is awarded annually to the most outstanding rookie player in the NHL.
