Phil Austin was an American comedian and writer, best known as a member of the Firesign Theatre. He was born on April 6, 1941 and died on June 18, 2015 at the age of 74. In addition to his work with Firesign Theatre, Austin also appeared in films such as "The Host" and "Olympus Has Fallen". He was also a coach and faculty member at Fullerton College. Austin was known for his unique voice and comedic talent, particularly as the character "Nick Danger" in Firesign Theatre's productions.
