Raza Jaffrey is a British actor known for his work in both theatre and television. He was born in Liverpool, England in 1975 to a Pakistani father and an English mother. After graduating from Manchester University with a degree in English and drama, Jaffrey went on to study at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Jaffrey's first major role came in 2003 when he was cast as the lead in the West End production of Bombay Dreams, a musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber. He then went on to appear in numerous other stage productions, including an acclaimed performance in the 2007 revival of A Doll's House.
