Who is The Commodores?

The Commodores is not a commercial actor. In fact, The Commodores is a Grammy-award winning funk and soul band that originated in Tuskegee, Alabama in 1968. The band was formed by five college students - Lionel Richie, Thomas McClary, Milan Williams, William King, and Ronald LaPread.

The Commodores gained popularity in the 1970s with hits such as "Brick House," "Easy," and "Three Times a Lady." However, the band's biggest success came in the early 1980s with their album "Nightshift," which featured the hit single of the same name.

Despite the departure of lead singer Lionel Richie in 1982, The Commodores continued to produce music and tour throughout the 1980s and 1990s. In 2018, the band celebrated their 50th anniversary and released a new album, "Elevator."

While The Commodores may not be commercial actors, they are certainly a legendary funk and soul band that has had a significant impact on the music industry.
