Who is Vince Offer?

Vince Offer, born Offer Shlomi, is an American-Israeli infomercial pitchman, writer, director, and comedian, best known for his commercials promoting As Seen on TV products. He gained popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s with his infomercials for the ShamWow! absorbent towel and the Slap Chop kitchen gadget.

Offer was born in Israel in 1964, and moved to the United States as a child. He attended the University of Miami, where he studied film and theatre. After college, he pursued a career in comedy, performing in clubs and on television shows. He also wrote and directed his own films, including "The Underground Comedy Movie," which was released in 1999.

Offer's infomercials for the ShamWow! and Slap Chop products became viral sensations, thanks in part to his enthusiastic ad-libbing and catchphrases like "You're gonna love my nuts!" He also appeared in commercials for other As Seen on TV products, including the Graty cheese grater, the Schticky lint roller, and the InVinceable cleaning solution.

Despite his success as a pitchman, Offer has also faced legal troubles. In 2009, he was arrested on a charge of assaulting a sex worker in his hotel room. He later pleaded guilty to the charge and was ordered to pay a fine.

Offer continues to produce and direct films and to appear in commercials for As Seen on TV products. Despite his legal troubles, he remains a beloved and entertaining figure to many fans.
