Who is Wally Szczerbiak?
Wally Szczerbiak is an American former professional basketball player who played as a small forward in the NBA. He was born on March 5, 1977. Szczerbiak played college basketball at Miami University before being selected with the sixth overall pick in the 1999 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Szczerbiak spent most of his NBA career with the Timberwolves, where he played from 1999 to 2006. He was known for his scoring ability and was a key contributor to the team's success during his tenure. Szczerbiak was also traded to the Boston Celtics during the 2005-2006 season before being traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2008.
After retiring from professional basketball, Szczerbiak transitioned into a career as a color analyst. He is currently a color analyst for the New York Knicks on the MSG Network.
