Who is William Zabka?

William Zabka tv commercials

William Zabka is an American actor, producer, director and screenwriter, best known for his role as Johnny Lawrence in the 1984 martial arts classic, The Karate Kid. Born in New York City in 1965, Zabka began his acting career in the early 1980s and quickly rose to fame with his portrayal of the menacing Johnny Lawrence, the main antagonist in The Karate Kid.

Following the success of The Karate Kid, Zabka went on to have a successful career in Hollywood, appearing in numerous TV shows and films, including Just One of the Guys (1985), Back to School (1986) and The Equalizer (1985-1989), among many others. He even returned to The Karate Kid franchise as an executive producer for the YouTube Red series Cobra Kai, which is set 34 years after the events of the original film.

But before he became a Hollywood star, Zabka was actually a successful commercial actor. He appeared in numerous TV commercials throughout the 1980s, including ads for Coca-Cola, AT&T and Little Caesars. His good looks and natural charisma made him a popular figure in the world of advertising, and he quickly established himself as one of the most recognizable faces on TV.

Zabka's success in both commercial acting and Hollywood is a testament to his talent and hard work. Whether he was playing a villain or a hero, he always brought intensity and energy to his performances, which made him a fan favorite and a Hollywood legend.
