Kanye West aka Ye. After ending its partnership with Ye's Yeezy label last month, Gap Inc. is now pulling all remaining Yeezy Gap products from its stores and online after the rapper and designer made antisemitic remarks.

Kanye ended his 10-year collaborative deal with Gap last September after accusing them of not properly fulfilling the terms of their agreement. But before that, the 'Bound 2' hitmaker accused the firm of ripping off his ideas for their own designs.

“It was always a dream of mine to be at the Gap and to bring the best product possible to the masses,” Ye told CNBC. Ye signed the contract back in 2020, with the intention to collaborate with Gap until 2030. Sonia Syngal, who was CEO of Gap at the time, brought this deal to fruition.

“Antisemitism, racism and hate in any form are inexcusable and not tolerated in accordance with our values.” Effective today, the company is taking “immediate steps” to remove Yeezy Gap product from their stores and has shut down the Yeezy Gap website, per the statement.

Founded by Kanye West in 2009, Yeezy was started to mix up the sneaker designs we all know and love. “Yeezys” are classified as adorned sneakers, but Kanye has grown the Yeezy brand to include a clothing and accessory line, while also expanding his footwear line to include shoes like boots and heels.

Gap Inc. (GPS) and Kanye West last month both announced they were terminating a 10-year partnership that was inked in 2020 with his fashion company Yeezy.

Eight new pieces drop today, extending the darkly futuristic vision of Ye's work with Demna. Call it a hacking, a creative exchange, or, like longtime collaborators Kanye West and Balenciaga designer Demna Gvasalia, an engineering.
