Cleveland Golf's CBX ZipCore will launch in North America on Dec. 17, 2021. Now in its third generation, the CBX family of wedges, first introduced by Cleveland Golf, has transformed the market.

ZipCore is a unique, low-density core that sits at the heart of RTX. ZipCore shifts the center of gravity while raising MOI, adding spin, enhancing control, and boosting consistency on all your shots.

The Cleveland CBX Wedge is a forgiving, cavity back wedge for the 84% of golfers who play forgiving, cavity back irons. While its tour level face technologies create maximum spin and control, its shape and weighting are optimized for ultimate forgiveness.

While the sole is critical, we all know that spin is what gets the people going. The RTX 6 ZipCore wedges promise more spin no matter where you are. To achieve that, they use a suite of technologies. That starts with the eponymous ZipCore which makes the wedge more forgiving and consistent.

Lightweight, low density core design sits at the heart of the club to reduce vibrations and perfect CoG while boosting MOI for improved forgiveness on your shots. Toe weighting and a hollow chamber near the heel offers a better, more balanced wedge with added forgiveness across the face.

Introduced in 2020, ZipCore is a unique (and proprietary) low-density core extending from the lower hosel and into the heel of each wedge. The goal is to remove weight from that area and shift the CG more toward the center of the face.

CBX Full-Face 2 Wedges: The Full-Face Story Sure, the new wedge is a full-face version of the CBX ZipCore. The face is slightly larger with a slightly higher toe than its less-than-full-face brother. And it features the same wide-sole, large cavity-back, ZipCore insert and forgiving performance.

LARGER FULL-FACE PROFILE Hit more extreme, open-face shots with a larger face size - the largest contact area ever on a CBX Wedge. Plus, with 13% more contact area than our RTX Full-Face, that means more grooves from hosel to toe for more forgiveness, no matter where you strike it.

CBX Full-Face 2 Wedges: The Full-Face Story Sure, the new wedge is a full-face version of the CBX ZipCore. The face is slightly larger with a slightly higher toe than its less-than-full-face brother. And it features the same wide-sole, large cavity-back, ZipCore insert and forgiving performance.

With a high-toe profile, the CBX Full-Face 2 has a hitting area that is 13 percent larger than the RTX Full-Face. That's not only helpful on mis-hits, but assists with better contact on open-faced shots, too, as the grooves stretch across the entire face.
