Dawn of DC follows on from Dark Crisis and explores a changed DCU with the return of the pre-Crisis infinite Multiverse and the disbanding of the Justice League, who are replaced by the Titans as the world's premiere superhero team.

Unlike The New 52 or DC Rebirth where all titles were relaunched with new number one issues being released in a short period, the Dawn Of DC instead is a yearlong storytelling initiative where there is a slow roll out new titles releasing throughout the year.

Superman features the Man of Steel at his best. He's always working to protect people, and he sees the good in even his foes. The book also features new enemies that are somehow outmaneuvering all of LexCorp. It's a thrilling story made even better by Olsen's journey and Superman's ever-kind heart.

DC has recently introduced one of its most powerful new heroes in years, City Boy, and he's primed to have a huge influence on the DC Universe. A recent encounter with Superman shows Cameron Kim just how much he could help others - perhaps as much as Superman himself. If only City Boy is willing to step up, that is.

David Corenswet As part of this takeover, Gunn announced Superman: Legacy, his own new take on DC's most iconic hero. Superman: Legacy will effectively serve as a new beginning for the DCU, introducing a new Superman, played by David Corenswet, to replace Henry Cavill's version of the hero.

To get into the specifics, the DCU will reboot their on-screen superheroes mostly with new actors in brand new versions of characters, but some of the actors from past films will return to play a few of these new and different versions of the same characters.

Dawn Granger is the second Dove, the successor of Don Hall. She is an avatar of Peace and half of Hawk and Dove; first with the original, Hank Hall, and later with her sister Holly Granger.

Doomsday stabs him too and Superman is weak enough from all of the various stabbings and explosions that Doomsday's stab proves fatal. Everyone mourns the loss of Superman, there's a big funeral, and in a brief post-credits sequence the dirt on top of his coffin begins to rise.

Batman has lost faith in the government, while Superman has pledged his obedience to it. Yes, their conflict is partially rooted in hate - they do dislike each other - but Miller's dystopian story is about two figures engaged in a philosophical and political war rather than something personal.

Luthor's intelligence is rivaled only by his ego, and that is where the answer lies. He might claim that he opposes Superman because he is wary of alien usurpers, but the truth is that he hates Supes because he makes Lex look like second best.

Shazam's godlike powers and his connection to magic make Billy Batson the strongest kid in the DC universe.

City Boy, a.k.a. Cameron Kim, is just trying to make a living by using his powers of being able to speak to cities to find lost and hidden goods to pawn, and it's only just enough to get by. And those abilities mean he hears everything everywhere all the time, including each city's histories and the truths behind them.
