In two weeks after treatment with Compound W NitroFreeze®, common warts are usually gone. If a wart or part of it is still there two weeks after treatment, you may then safely treat it again. Do not treat each wart with Compound W NitroFreeze® more than three times in total.

After the area thaws and color returns, a redness that is the same size as the frozen region may appear. As a result of freezing, a blister may form (sometimes filled with blood) under the wart within a few days. You may not see this easily.

It works for removing warts on the hand!! I used this product to treat a wart that decided to take up residence on the inside of my middle finger. After first I was tempted to see a dermatologist but every doctor's office I called wanted $200 to treat a simple wart!

Do not treat each wart with this product more than three times in total. Consult your doctor if three treatments have not led to improvement.

When a plantar wart does not go away after cryotherapy, it is usually because the entire wart was not exposed to the treatment. That can happen when a wart is very thick or the surface area of a wart is large. Another round of cryotherapy is then needed to eliminate the wart completely.

The location of the wart and the thickness of the skin around the wart will determine how long it takes for the blister to form. The blister may be either clear or filled with blood. Sometimes a crust or scab may form instead. After 4 to 7 days, the blister will break, dry up and fall off.

In most cases, the blister and wart will disappear within a few days. If the blister is still giving you pain or still contains fluid after this, call your doctor for a second evaluation.

Preferences and methods of application vary, but all in all, the liquid nitrogen is typically in contact with the skin for 10–20 seconds. Within 24 hours of the procedure, a blister forms around the wart. After about 1 week, it may be possible to remove this blister along with the wart.

But some people use wart-freezing devices too enthusiastically, which can damage skin even if there's no fire, dermatologists say. Overuse can severely damage the surrounding skin, leading to redness, blisters or the death of tissue.
