Unilever United States is recalling two Suave aerosol antiperspirants due to elevated levels of a cancer-causing chemicals, the Food & Drug Administration reported. According to the FDA, an internal review showed “slightly elevated” levels of benzene, a human carcinogen, in some product samples.

Suave does not make or sell their products in Mainland China.

The Suave 24-Hour Protection Aerosol product line was discontinued in October 2021 for business reasons. The affected products were in limited distribution at U.S. retail stores and online. If you purchased any of these products with the affected UPC and lot codes, you should stop using them.
