MAXUS Deliver 9 safety & security Safety kit for the Deliver 9 is better than most of its rivals out of the box, with autonomous emergency braking and lane keep assist as standard plus driver and passenger airbags. Step up to the Luxury trim level and you get a reversing camera and blind-spot monitoring.

A gas-operated gun, the Maxus II has a reliable system Browning calls the Power Drive. The heart of the system is a piston on the magazine tube with a stout spring inside. The spring compresses to vent excess gases from very heavy loads so the gun can shoot anything from light target loads to turkey magnums.

Both are excellent shotguns, but having had both I think the Maxus is the better gun. Oh, and the triangular magazine cap on the Maxus II is a heck of a lot easier to tighten and remove over the A5.

FINAL SCORECARD. And just like that, the Browning A5 sneaks right by the Maxus 2 by a half point! I'd have to agree. This gun seemed to perform above and beyond its price point and I absolutely love shooting it.
