This medication is for use in the nose. In adults, the usual dose is 2 sprays in each nostril once or twice a day or as directed by your doctor. In children, the usual dose is 1 to 2 sprays in each nostril once daily or as directed by the doctor. Avoid spraying this medication in your eyes or mouth.
You should only spray Nasacort (triamcinolone acetonide) into your nostrils one time each day. The medication should help relieve your allergy symptoms for up to 24 hours. Spraying Nasacort (triamcinolone acetonide) more than once a day can put you at higher risk for side effects such as sore throat and nosebleeds.
Triamcinolone Nasal Spray. Nasacort® is a brand of triamcinolone. It treats allergy symptoms like sneezing and a runny nose. It works by decreasing inflammation in your nose to help you breathe easier.
