It does work , it foams nicely and smells clean . This product cleans our shower very well, it even gets a lot of the hard water stains off of the tub. Seems to work well for the most part. I do still have some issues with soap scum occasionally with using this.

If you do decide to leave it in the bowl overnight, let other members of your household know so that they don't use the toilet and accidentally mix the bleach with ammonia from urine. If you want to use traditional toilet cleaner, you can leave it in your toilet for an entire weekend because it's milder.

Some cleansers' instructions recommend letting the solution sit for up to 10 minutes, but you can work on wiping down the exterior parts of the toilet while you let the disinfectant do its job.

The automatic shower cleaner was likely discontinued because of manufacturing defects. Unfortunately, it's a real challenge to create a cleaning product that sits in the shower, holds and sprays liquid, and that is waterproof to protect its electronics and battery.
