WWE Vengeance, known as NXT Vengeance Day since 2021, is an American professional wrestling event produced by WWE, a professional wrestling promotion based in Connecticut. The event was originally created in 2001 as a pay-per-view (PPV), when the promotion was still called the World Wrestling Federation (WWF).

All the NXT superstars are prepared to give their all, with a total of 6 matches on the card including Championship matches and grudge matches. NXT Vengeance Day will be airing on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 8pm ET and promises to be a night of memorable moments and solid matches, among other things.

NXT TakeOver was a series of periodic professional wrestling events produced by WWE, a professional wrestling promotion based in Connecticut. The events were produced exclusively for the promotion's NXT brand division and aired live on pay-per-view (PPV) and the livestreaming services Peacock and the WWE Network.

In the main event, Bron Breakker defeated Grayson Waller in a Steel Cage match to retain the NXT Championship.

8 p.m. ET The show will begin at 8 p.m. ET. Formerly an annual WWE main roster pay-per-view, Vengeance was resurrected as an NXT exclusive event in 2021 for the month of February under the name 'Vengeance Day'. This makes this year's show the third edition under the banner of the developmental brand.

In September 2019, NXT permanently moved to USA Network and was revamped as a live, two-hour program on Wednesday nights, with replays available the following day on WWE Network.

The 1st NXT Special was called NXT Arrival on February 27, 2014. Since that wasn't called NXT Takeover, it will not be counted here. Every event from the 1st Takeover on May 29, 2014 to the present will be counted here. There have been 193 Matches at 36 Takeovers, with 129 Participants.

NXT does not have a full form. The name is simply an abbreviation for the word ”Next” referring to the next generation of superstars being made on the show, since NXT is the starting point for most superstars (making exceptions for people like AJ Styles, Ronda Rousey, Gallows and Anderson, etc).

Carmelo Hayes The event took place on May 28, 2023, at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts. It was the first Battleground held since July 2017, as well as the first to livestream on Peacock. Six matches were contested at the event. In the main event, Carmelo Hayes defeated Bron Breakker to retain the NXT Championship.

Peacock Unlike the 2022 event, which was held as a television special, the 2023 Vengeance Day was a livestreaming event (but not PPV), airing on Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network in international markets, in turn marking the first Vengeance to air on Peacock due to the American version of the WWE Network merging ...

This year's show will mark the first non-Wrestlemania weekend NXT ppv to take place outside of the WWE Performance Center since Takeover: Portland back in February of 2020. The main show for Saturday will begin at 8 p.m. ET. and will stream live on Peacock.
