Mario Party is a party video game series featuring characters from the Mario franchise in which up to four local players or computer-controlled characters (called "CPUs") compete in a board game interspersed with minigames.

Complete these steps

1. Open the Super Mario Party game and select your user account.
2. Select the number of systems and players. Up to two systems can connect locally.
3. Pair each Joy-Con controller.
4. Each player will select a character.
5. Select the game mode you wish to play by exploring the plaza.

Super Mario Party was a brand new Mario Party with new boards and mechanics. Mario Party Superstars includes only remakes of minigames and boards from classic Mario Party games on the Nintendo 64, GameCube, and Wii, but has additional game modes and enhanced online and multiplayer functions.

We got this game after she had just turned 4 and it took some time (a month or two in som cases) to understand what to do on many minigames. Luckily, the game has a practice mode before every minigame that you can take the time to show your child before going the real thing which helps a lot.

The objective is to race through the Mushroom Kingdom, survive the main antagonist Bowser's forces, and save Princess Toadstool. It is a side-scrolling platform game where the player moves to the right to reach the flagpole at the end of each level.

However, if you're accustomed to previous Mario Party games, you're gonna love Mario Party Superstars. It has dozens of great minigames from some of the best titles in the series, and a handful of massive maps from those games as well.

Mario Party Superstars is sort of a greatest hits of the first three games. It contains five of the best boards and over 100 mini-games from the original trilogy all packed into one collection with some extras and quality of life updates. The Mario Party games are a weird collaboration of fun and frustration.

The board in Mario Party operates similar to some board games: You roll a dice, then move that amount of spaces. Different spaces have wildly different effects, but the main goal is to get to the star on the board and pay 20 coins to earn it.

Open Super Mario Party and select your user account. Select the number of players (up to 2). It is not possible to pair two consoles locally and play online. Each console can have no more than 2 players when playing online.
