On Tuesday night during the MTV Video Music Awards, the coffee and donuts chain debuted a new commercial, directed by and starring Affleck, and produced by the actor's Artists Equity production label. The new spot stars Affleck and rap star Ice Spice, who conceptualize a new drink: The Ice Spice Munchkins Drink.

In the spot, Affleck, a well-known Dunkin' devotee who grew up in Massachusetts, sports a thick Boston accent while hawking the new Ice Spice Munchkins Drink. “Things with Dunkin' are going well. Big promotion. Made me brand ambassador,” he says while walking with a Dunkin' drink.

Why is the Dunkin logo pink and orange? Lucia DeRespinis, the designer of the logo, suggested that the colors were too “toasted” and that since donuts are meant to be fun, so should the brand and logo design. She suggested keeping the design but adding in her daughter's favorite colors, pink and orange.
