HertzThrifty Car Rental / Parent organization Thrifty Car Rental is one of the largest car rental companies in the world and is a subsidiary of The Hertz Corporation with headquarters in Estero, Florida.

Chrysler In August 1990, Dollar was acquired by Chrysler, which made it part of its Pentastar Transportation Group, Inc., along with Thrifty Car Rental. In August 1994, Dollar relocated its world car rental headquarters to Tulsa, Oklahoma. In November 1997, Chrysler sold Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc.

Thrifty serves both the airport and local markets through company-owned stores and an expansive franchise network. In November 2012, Thrifty, along with sister company Dollar Rent A Car, joined the Hertz family of brands following Hertz's acquisition of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc.

I'm a member of Hertz Gold Plus Rewards and/or Dollar EXPRESS Renter Rewards. Since this is the same company can I use those points at Thrifty? Even though we are one company, the loyalty programs will remain separate at this point therefore points can't be used at the other brands.
