Varidesk CEO Jason McCann and company owner Dan Flaherty were kicking ideas around in their Coppell office one day in 2012 when their blockbuster product began taking shape.

2012 Vari launched in 2012. Most standing desks at the time were too expensive and too hard to build, McCann said, and the company capitalized on that gap creating the VariDesk - cutting out middlemen and working directly with customers.

The desk may need to be recalibrated if the screen is not showing the correct height - for instance the display reads 50.5” but is in fully lowered position. To do this, press the DOWN button on the control panel until the base reaches its lowest position.
