Pandora is a subscription-based music streaming service owned by Sirius XM Holdings based in Oakland, California, United States. The service carries a focus on recommendations based on the "Music Genome Project" - a means of classifying individual songs by musical traits.

If you're a Pandora Premium subscriber, just search for a song or album and hit play. If you're a free listener or Pandora Plus subscriber, search for a song or album and tap its name in the results list. This will take you to a backstage page, where you can press play to initiate Premium access.

It's only available in the US or Australia. You can listen to Pandora using VPN software like TunnelBear (which has a free amount of data use). Or you can rent a server in the US, as suggested (Amazon EC2 works particularly well for this).

For me it always comes down to Pandora's shuffle ability. I love a lot of different genres, and get tired quickly of listening to the same genre. So add all my favorite genre stations to the shuffle list, and set the shuffle setting to random, and that way I am always getting different music to listen to, which I love.

Pandora and Spotify are both excellent music streaming services. Pandora Premium's My Collection tab is organized like a jukebox. Pandora makes it easy to navigate genres, though the design isn't that nice-looking. Spotify's clean user interface puts your content at the forefront before giving you recommendations.
