The Lowes employee, Donna Hansbrough was fired for attempting to stop the theft. Lowes stated that Donna's actions (grabbing the cart) was a violation of their policy and Donna was terminated as a result. Donna had worked for Lowes for 13 years.

Yes, you read that correctly, former Lowe's employee. Lowe's fired the driver after he posted his video of this criminal act on TikTok.

Home Depot is a publicly owned corporation with 1.08 billion shares listed on the New York Stock Exchange. It isn't owned by Lowe's.

Walmart does not own Lowes as of 2021. Lowes Inc. is a publicly-traded company without a majority shareholder, and Walmart owns no shares in the company. Walmart does, however, own several other discount chains and brands across the US and beyond.
