Lane Hartzel is now an official chocolate taste tester for Hershey's.It started with a school career day project. Lane's parents didn't know what their son could pick since he's non-verbal and non-mobile. His teachers suggested a chocolate critic. Hershey quickly reached out after hearing about it on social media.

Hershey's is making a young Northern Kentucky boy's dream job a reality. Second grader Lane Hartzel has cerebral palsy. His parents said he is non-verbal and non-mobile. Last year, Hartzel's school hosted career day, and his school suggested a few jobs for him.

The company also produced a video featuring Hartzel for a national ad campaign, which will debut April 17.

Milton Hershey borrowed a large sum of money from family to start his own candy business in 1876. He believed many people would visit Philadelphia during the anniversary of the American Revolution, so he based his company there. This new company, as well as a subsequent company he owned in New York City, failed.

Through trial and error he created his own formula for milk chocolate. In 1903 he began construction on what was to become the world's largest chocolate manufacturing plant. The facility, completed in 1905, was designed to manufacture chocolate using the latest mass production techniques.

The Hershey Co. is being sued for allegedly failing to disclose the presence of lead and cadmium in several of its dark chocolate bars.
