Carnation Breakfast Essentials can be used as supplements to a balanced diet. They are not meant as meal replacements. The drinks come in versions with added probiotics, extra protein, and low sugar.

Carnation Breakfast Bars There was also a Change.org petition started in 2013 to bring back the bars, but it received only about 300 supporters. Neither effort has been enough to bring back the '80s favorite. A different version, Carnation Breakfast Essentials Nutrition Bars, is available on Amazon and in stores.
