Don't know for a fact for Burberry, but normally Elixirs have a higher fragrance oil content than perfumes and even more than Eau de Parfum's. This would just mean that Elixirs will stay for the longest amount of time on the skin, then Parfum, then Eau de Parfum, and lastly Eau de Toilette.

With the longevity, it lasts on my skin for up to 10 hours. It seems to fall in the 8.5-10 hour range, but doesn't go beyond that for me. The performance here is well worth the price of admission. Seasonally, more of an autumn and winter scent.
