As long as you give your reels a fresh water rinse after use in the saltwater you'll be fine. Just crank the drag down tight and give them a good spray of fresh water. I use an air compressor after the rinse to get all the water off the reel. Be sure to loosen the drag all the way after you rinse it and dry it off.
