Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom takes up four years after Jurassic Park closed and the dinosaurs were relocated to the island of Isla Nublar. Unfortunately for the dinosaurs, a volcano has erupted on Isla Nublar, destroying much of it and threatening the dinosaurs with extinction.

Located off the coast of Costa Rica, the Jurassic World luxury resort provides a habitat for an array of genetically engineered dinosaurs, including the vicious and intelligent Indominus rex. When the massive creature escapes, it sets off a chain reaction that causes the other dinos to run amok. When "Jurassic Park" hit theaters in 1993, it instantly became famous for its dozens of product tie-ins, the camera lingering on logos for Ford Explorers, Jeep Wranglers, Nikon cameras and Jolt Cola.

A classic film... The dinosaurs aren't too scary, but if your child gets scared easily, then you might not want to show them this movie because it has death and violence. Steven Spielberg created a great film in 1993 that still holds up to todays standards. All in all, I think Jurassic Park is okay for ages 8+.

The end of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom takes the series in a dramatic new direction. Isla Nublar has effectively been destroyed – or at best, turned into an uninhabitable rock just off the coast of Costa Rica. But more importantly, the dinosaurs are now free. Properly free.

Jurassic Park is a 1990 science fiction novel written by Michael Crichton. A cautionary tale about genetic engineering, it presents the collapse of a zoological park showcasing genetically recreated dinosaurs to illustrate the mathematical concept of chaos theory and its real-world implications.

The Jurassic Period occurred from about 199 million years ago to 145 million years ago. This was a time when the world was drastically changing as a result of what scientists call plate tectonics. The large landmasses that we know today as continents were once together in one piece, called Pangea.

– The theme park contains a Hilton Hotel, Brookstone, Pandora, Ben & Jerry's stores, an IMAX cinema and a Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville bar. – There is also a Starbucks coffee shop. Bryce Dallas Howard and her character's assistant are both seen drinking Starbucks coffee.

Barbasol can In Jurassic Park, Lewis Dodgson gives Dennis Nedry (Wayne Knight) a bag full of cash and a modified Barbasol can, with a promise of more money for each dinosaur embryo he can sneak off Isla Nublar. The fake shaving cream can has a screw-off bottom and can hold up to 15 embryos.

Okay, it isn't actually a real dinosaur on display just outside the Jurassic Park Discovery Center. In fact, it's an amazingly realistic puppet, created by Michael Curry (who has also worked on Disney's Lion King and Finding Nemo musicals) and brought to life by talented performers.

It began in 1990 when Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment bought the rights to Crichton's novel Jurassic Park before it was published.
