KRE-O is a line of construction toys (similar to Lego and Mega Bloks) manufactured by South Korea–based Oxford and marketed by Hasbro.

The line launched in the US on June 6th, 2011. Since then, Kre-O has expanded into a multi-property brand, with sets based on other Hasbro franchises including G.I.

In 1885 the ZBD model alternating-current transformer was invented by three Hungarian engineers: Ottó Bláthy, Miksa Déri and Károly Zipernowsky. (ZBD comes from the initials of their names). In the autumn of 1889 he patented the AC watt-meter.

The Kre-O sets weren't selling well so Hasbro ended it. You can still find leftover stock at Dollar General from time to time.

Types of Transformers

• Power Transformers. A power transformer transfers electricity between a generator and the distribution primary circuits.
• Autotransformers. Now, let's make things even more complicated.
• Generator Step-Up Transformers. Moving right along to GSUs or generator step-up transformers.
• Auxiliary Transformers.

Oil-filled transformers are more efficient than dry-type transformers, which are larger and have a lower voltage rating. Thus, the dry types are more prone to overheating during overload, resulting in higher electrical losses and maintenance costs.
