Mercedes-Benz GLA
The Mercedes-Benz GLA and the BMW X1 are fairly similar in size. After all, they're both subcompact crossovers. However, the new BMW X1 is slightly bigger, with a length of 14.1 feet, a height of 5 feet, and a width of 6.5 feet.

We Don't Like
BMW's X1 is the largest-selling luxury SUV in India. This wasn't always the case. The first-generation X1 was based on a rear-wheel-drive platform and was fun to drive, but it wasn't spacious, practical or very SUV-like to look at. So it wasn't very successful in India.
The used X1 performs well for reliability, ranking fourth out of 39 cars in the family SUV class in the What Car? Reliability Survey. Although the 2016 model has some reported reliability issues, BMW X1s from 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 are all very reliable, with low levels of complaints and few known problems.
The BMW X1 is the longer SUV here, and it also sits the highest at 1630 mm. Furthermore, it comes with a bigger boot at 476 litres. On the other hand, the GLA is the wider SUV,with a longer wheelbase. Both these SUVs have identical ground clearance at 183mm.
Both the cars are almost the same sizes. BMW X1 has a dimension of 4447*2060*1598 mm3 whereas Mercedes GLA has a dimension of 4436*2020*1611 mm3 making the BMW X1 just a slightly bigger car.
