Kinopio Toad, known in Japan as Kinopio, is a fictional character who primarily appears in Nintendo's Mario franchise.

The manual for Super Mario World has a section entitled “Your Pal Yoshi”. On page 17 of the manual it says “If Yoshi eats a yellow shell, he will make a sand cloud when he bounces off the ground”. There are a few references on page 17 and 18 of the manual that refer to Yoshi as “he”. Yoshi is a boy.

Toadette the female counterpart of Captain Toad who wears an outfit similar to Captain Toad's. However, it has a pink-ish style. Her mushroom cap is pink with white spots, and pigtails that match the colors of her cap.

Nowadays, Yoshi seems to be villainous as he likes committing crimes (especially tax fraud), hence he is a wanted criminal and fugitive for constantly committing tax fraud (ever since the video, Mario Preschool). He also dislikes taxes as implied by the fact that he is a tax fraudster.

Birdo is a Pink, Yoshi-like animal who first appeared in Super Mario Bros. 2. Birdo is always seen wearing a pink bow and a diamond ring on her left hand.

Toad seems to have a crush on Toadette in the episode Retarded64: the Toad, the Fat and the Ugly, but at the end, she admits she's 9 years old, which makes Toad shocked. He is then arrested by a Policeman crew because they thought he was a pedophile.

It is said on Nintendo.com's page for Super Mario Sunshine that he is Peach's father, which would make him King Toadstool. However, it has been stated in games and game booklets that Toadsworth is Peach's attaché and thus, is subordinate to her (while if he were King, he would be the ruling monarch).

Birdo has a relationship with Yoshi, as seen in many Mario sports games. They are paired up in Mario Kart: Double Dash, Mario Tennis and many other games.

Purple Yoshi is the one of the only 3 female yoshis in VAF along side Claudi and Yoshette. She used to be Blue Yoshi's girlfriend, until PY took a trip by taking BY's money without even getting permission or telling him she was leaving.

Purple Yoshi is a recurring Yoshi from VAF, she is also a minor character in Super Mario Bros as well as the Yoshi series. She's a minor antagonist in the Main Series, and the main antagonist of Total Drama Plush 3 and Total Drama Plush R. She's Isabelle's arch-nemesis, and ex-girlfriend of Blue Yoshi.
