We designed Dr. Scholl's Freeze Away Max™ wart remover to meet the need for easy removal of common and plantar warts. With its precision spray of cooling gas, Freeze Away Max directly freezes the wart down to the core, providing a simple one-action, fast, targeted and effective way to eliminate warts.

Spray: Use your thumb to slowly press down on the can and activate freeze spray. Keep spraying for 10 or 15 uninterrupted seconds, depending on the treatment area. Following treatment, warts may fall off within 10-14 days.

Active Ingredients: Salicylic Acid (w/w) (17 %), Wart Remover. Inactive Ingredients: Castor Oil, Ethyl Lactate, Flexible Collodion, Polybutene, (Contains Alcohol 18% v/v and Ether 53% v/v from Flexible Collodion).

During cryotherapy, the healthcare provider applies extreme cold to abnormal tissue. Cells can't survive this severe cold and die after treatment. Your healthcare provider can use a few different substances to create the intense cold used in cryotherapy.

In most cases, only one treatment is needed for each wart. Plantar warts may need more than one treatment. Warts are usually gone in two weeks after treatment with freeze away. If a wart or part of it is still there two weeks after treatment, you may then safely treat it again.

This product claims to freeze away warts, but can only do that half the time, for half the customers. Other products have a much higher treatment success. This works wonderfully well, but you do have to use it right. I've had a very stubborn medium-sized wart on my finger.

If the freezing was extensive enough, a blister (or bloodblister) may develop. If blistering is severe, the area may weep for several days. Total healing varies between one and three weeks, depending on which area of the body was treated.

Withing 24 hours, you can expect the area to be swollen and or blistered. Within one week, the swelling goes down. The top becomes dark red and scab-like. The scab will loosen over the next weeks and should fall off within one month.
