The Performance setting (1) will give you the most performance of the bow, while the Comfort setting (3) will give you a ultra smooth draw cycle. the Classic setting (2) will split the difference between the Performance and the Comfort settings.

History. The oldest known evidence of the bow and arrow comes from South African sites such as Sibudu Cave, where likely arrowheads have been found, dating from approximately 72,000–60,000 years ago. The earliest probable arrowheads found outside of Africa were discovered in 2020 in Fa Hien Cave, Sri Lanka.

BOWTECH SR350 BOWTECH SR350 The SR350 is the fastest standard draw-length model in the Bowtech line, with an IBO rating of 350 fps. It's equipped with Bowtech's proven DeadLock technology, which makes precise arrow tuning without a press easier than ever.

320 fps The Fuel bow has a draw length setting adjustable between 18 and 30 inches without changing limbs or using a bow press and a draw weight range between 15 and 70 lbs. The Fuel weighs just 3.4 lbs and can fire arrows at speeds up to 320 fps.

Even with today's small profile, fixed-blade heads, most experts recommend a maximum arrow speed of 260-270 fps. Beyond that, broadhead planing becomes problematic for all but the very best archers.

So what's fast in the compound bowhunting space? Well, I can remember a time not too long ago when anything breaking 300 fps would be considered a screamer. However, that wouldn't even get a passing glance today. Fact is, if the advertised speed isn't breaking 330 fps, there doesn't seem to be much interest.
