Under Dunkin' Rewards, members earn points faster, receiving 10 points for every $1 spent, compared to the 5 points under DD Perks. However, it takes more points to earn a free drink than it did under the old system. In the old program, 200 points would get you a free drink of any size.

January 2014 The DD Perks Rewards loyalty program, which was introduced nationwide in January 2014, is fully integrated into the app. Members earn five points for every dollar they spend on qualifying purchases at Dunkin' Donuts when they pay using an enrolled Dunkin' Donuts Card, either plastic or via the Dunkin' Mobile App.

US coffee chain Dunkin' has launched its Dunkin' Drive-To Sustainability Program, committing to 100% responsibly sourced coffee by 2025. The initiative focuses on three pillars - verification, partnerships and improvement.

Earning Stars Earn 1 Star per $1 spent when you scan your member barcode in the app, then pay with cash, credit/debit cards or mobile wallets at participating stores. You can also earn 1 Star per $1 spent when you link a payment method and pay directly through the app.

Earn 5 points for every $1 spent. Every 200 points gets you a free beverage. Plus, get exclusive bonus-point offers.

“Dunkin' Donuts' has more than five million DD Perks members, and through the rewards program they are able to earn points towards free beverages with each purchase of Dunkin' coffee, espressos, sandwiches and more,” said a Dunkin' Donuts spokesperson.

After more than six years since the program launched, there are now more than 18 million DD Perks members nationwide. With DD Perks, guests earn five points for every dollar they spend on qualifying purchases at Dunkin'.

While a “free beverage” reward used to mean any drink of any size, now Dunkin' requires you to redeem more points if you want a latte, cold brew, or frappuccino. And gone are the free birthday drinks; instead, customers get triple points.

Dunkin' said in October that it was replacing its old rewards program, DD Perks, with a new program called Dunkin' rewards. The new system came with a number of changes. Members need 700 points to get a free coffee and 900 points for a frozen drink or hot or iced signature latte.
