Spacer Bras are a lightweight alternative to your usual padded bras. The difference lies within the fabric – it's all about the Spacer Fabric. It's created very differently to regular foam as the purpose is for it to be light and breathable.

Spacer foam is made of dual-layer foam fabric. The foam is full of air pockets that allow for airflow through the bra cups. All of those foamy air pockets make the spacer pads feel spongy to the touch and, more importantly, ridiculously lightweight and breathable.

Spacer fabrics are a kind of 3D manufactured textile structures in which two outer fabric layers are connected by a layer of pile threads. Because of the layer of these spacer yarns, a defined distance can be established between the outer layers, which generally varies from 1.5 to 10 mm.
