Hairdorables are a line of blind box dolls released by Just Play focusing on initially twelve unique characters. Each series comes in a sealed package with various "surprises" of accessories as the package is opened.

Each Hairdorable doll is made of plastic vinyl and approximately five inches tall from top of head to base of feet, not including hairstyles.

Each doll includes one color-change accessory that, when placed in icy-cold water or subjected to cold temperatures, will change colors via thermochromatic means.

Doll Hair is generally a synthetic hair made out of plastics and glued or knotted into holes on the doll's head. The doll manufacturers generally refer to this as 'rooted' hair. On older dolls and antique dolls the hair was often animal or human hair made into a doll's wig, which was then glued to the doll's head.

The Thanjavur doll is a type of traditional Indian bobblehead or roly-poly toy made of terracotta material. The centre of gravity and total weight of the doll is concentrated at its bottom-most point, generating a dance-like continuous movement with slow oscillations.

Polypropylene Doll Hair is an extremely lightweight hair that is somewhere a cross between Saran and Nylon. The texture and feel is similar to Saran while it has the flexible styling properties similar to Nylon making it a very versatile hair to work with! It can be boil permed and styled the same way Nylon can.

Yarn hair is often used on fabric and knitted dolls. It will match with the doll's appearance and will be easier to stick on the doll's head. Synthetic hair is what you see on most collectible dolls, and plastic dolls like Barbie dolls. It looks like real human hair but is synthetic material.

The earliest materials were rubber and celluloid. From the mid-20th century, soft vinyl became the dominant material, in particular for children's dolls. Beginning in the 20th century, both porcelain and plastic dolls are made directly for the adult collectors market.

For nearly all dolls up to about 16-18", use a good quality, plain, tight weave cotton with a bit of stetch when pulled cross-grain that will allow rounded heads to be formed if stuffed well and strong enough to take stuffing firmly with stuffing that will be packed hard such as wool roving.
