This wordless picturebook has a powerful (and quite depressing) message, as summarized in the author's note at the end of the book: "We are changing the face of our world at an alarming and an increasing pace." Illustrated with elaborate and gorgeous collage, Window is a wordless picture book that speaks volumes.

Anna is a middle aged woman who struggles with several different mental illnesses being agoraphobia, severe anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder. With all of these mental illnesses she also has an alcohol addiction. Anna is a mother to her daughter Olivia and an ex-wife to Ed.

The Woman In The Window is an absolutely amazing debut mystery-thriller. I cannot recommend it enough. My favorite part of this novel is the writing style.

Man in the Window: The Golden State Killer is a true crime podcast that examines the notorious case of the Golden State Killer one of California's most deadly serial killers.

It is about what you would expect from the Girl/Woman genre. A topsy-turvy mystery with lots of twists and lots (and I mean LOTS) of alcohol. This mystery is an homage to the Hitchcock classic, Rear Window, as well as other noir thrillers from that time period.

In the book, Ethan doesn't kill his dad's coworker. But in the movie's final act, Ethan tells her that he was the one who killed his father's coworker, not Alistair. He explains to Anna that he likes watching people die, which is why he killed that woman.

A window is an opening in a wall, door, roof, or vehicle that allows the exchange of light and may also allow the passage of sound and sometimes air.

If a character is staring out a window, for example, he or she may have a narrow view of the world. The glass might represent the fact that the character feels trapped or cut off from others. In other instances, a window can symbolize dreams for a different kind of life, or an opportunity for escape.
