The 8500W model is similar to the 8500, but there are a few key differences. Like the the 8500, the 8500W LiftMaster has a five-year parts warranty, and a lifetime warranty on the motor. However, the 8500 does not have built-in wi-fi or the Motor Vibration Isolation System (MVIS®).
