Alice DeRoss, the Journalist, is the daughter of Dennis DeRoss and grew up with Orpheus. The "Little Girl" is his memory of her when they were childhood friends. The "Little Girl" has a very close connection to Orpheus and she frequently shows up in both his memories and his hallucinations.
