Bumblebee is an Autobot from the Generation 1 continuity family. Ahoy-hoy! Bumblebee is one of the smallest and physically weakest Autobots. While his stature allows him to do his job better than most Autobots could manage, he is self-conscious about his size.

They are well-known for their meandering, 'bumbling' flight, and their distinctive buzz – which is where their Latin name Bombus (meaning 'booming') originates. Unlike the honeybee, bumblebees do not make honey, as they do not need to store food for winter.

Bumblebee may be able to get a few shots on prime and hold him off for a bit… but Optimus will eventually take down bumblebee, his fighting skills are far more superior than bumblebee.

It is argued that there are many experimental factors which might reduce measured power output below that in the living bumblebee, and no obvious factors which might lead to overestimates of muscle power. The conclusion is that flight muscle in the intact bumblebee can produce at least 100 W kg-1.

In almost every version of the mythos, Optimus is the leader of the Autobots, a faction of Transformers who are rivals of the Decepticons, another faction. He is defined by his strong moral character and is almost always portrayed as the primary hero of the story, opposing the Decepticon leader Megatron.

Optimus Prime excels at soft skills, which are leadership qualities as effective as his ion blaster and energon axe. Prime rallies the Autobots whenever the Decepticons pose a threat. He inspires his followers because he lets them know he cares about them, and he speaks directly and honestly with them.
