A detangling brush is a specially designed hairbrush for any hair prone to tangles. Unlike other hairbrushes, a detangling brush removes knots and tangles without pulling and tugging when appropriately used. Using the right hairbrush reduces hair breakage and overall damage.

Synthetic bristles will either be metallic or plastic. Metallic bristles are naturally stiff, which makes them ideal for detangling, but they can be uncomfortable to use, especially when you're in a hurry. Plastic bristles make the best detangling brush for fast detangling.

Steps

1. 1: Put 2–3 tablespoons of your favorite conditioner in your squirt bottle.
