ProNamel Gentle Whitening tv commercials

ProNamel Gentle Whitening is a toothpaste that is specially formulated to protect teeth against the effects of acid erosion. It is designed to strengthen and re-harden enamel, making it more resistant to acidic foods and drinks that can cause damage to the teeth. This toothpaste contains fluoride, which helps to remineralize the enamel and prevent cavities.

The Gentle Whitening formulation of ProNamel is designed to provide a gentle whitening action, helping to remove surface stains and restore the natural whiteness of the teeth. It does this by improving mineral absorption into the enamel surface , resulting in stronger, healthier teeth. Additionally, ProNamel Gentle Whitening has a fresh minty flavor that leaves your mouth feeling clean and refreshed.

ProNamel Gentle Whitening is recommended for people who have sensitive teeth and are looking for a toothpaste that is gentle on the enamel. It is also suitable for those who want to maintain or enhance the whiteness of their teeth.

Using ProNamel Gentle Whitening toothpaste as part of your daily oral care routine can help protect your teeth against the effects of acid erosion , strengthen the enamel, prevent cavities, and gently whiten your teeth. It is important to note that individual results may vary, and it is always best to consult with your dentist for personalized dental care recommendations.

Damaging Ingredients If you use an over the counter whitening toothpaste every day, the ingredients can begin to damage your teeth. The ingredients in whitening toothpastes can reduce the natural mineral content of your teeth. Over time, this can make your teeth feel rougher and reduce their hardness.

Pronamel® Gentle Whitening toothpaste is specially formulated to protect teeth against the effects of acid erosion*. It contains fluoride and provides all the benefits of a regular toothpaste while gently, yet effectively, removing stains to help restore teeth to their natural whiteness.

I have used this product for a number of years to prevent sensitivity & it does a good job of that.. Works very well, but expensive. For sensitivity, I have not found ANY other brand that does as well as Sensodyne; it is hands down the best at that. As for whitening, it did ok; not great, but not horrible either.

How long does it take to work? Whitening toothpastes that contain blue covarine can have an immediate effect. When using a toothpaste that contains other whitening agents, it can take several weeks for you to notice a change. When used twice a day, it can take from two to six weeks for teeth to appear whiter.

But this begs the question “does teeth whitening damage the enamel?” The answer is no. While there may sometimes be side effects, whitening treatment is safe on tooth enamel. The process of tooth whitening is essentially the tooth will become dehydrated, meaning dried out.

According to the ADA, you should brush your teeth twice daily for two minutes. And specifically, for whitening toothpaste, you should not use the product more often than the label indicates (for example, once or twice daily for six weeks) or as your dentist advises.

In-office blue whitening treatment. In-office whitening treatments use a blue LED light. They are supervised by a dentist. This is considered one of the safest and most effective ways to whiten your teeth.

Risks commonly reported with tooth whitening include increased tooth sensitivity and mild gingival irritation. The degree of these side effects is directly related to the concentration of the peroxide bleach component, duration of the treatment, and the non-bleach composition of the product used.

If you're dealing with day-to-day surface stains from yellowing beverages or other lifestyle habits, a whitening toothpaste can help you scrub away this discoloration before it becomes a permanent part of your smile. However, this typically takes between two and six weeks of regular use.
