Set one year after the events of Metro: Last Light (and set over the course of an entire year), Metro Exodus sees Artyom on a quest to find more survivors outside of Moscow. It's revealed that in an effort to save Moscow, the Russian government jammed radio communications, and there are survivors all across the globe.

Metro Exodus was developed by a 150-strong team of developers at 4A Games, which was based in Kyiv, Ukraine, and Malta. Development of the game began in 2014.

The fourth Metro game is currently in development for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Although it may not seem like the type of game that would take up a ton of space, Metro Exodus has a PS5 game size of 121.8 GB. While this is one of the biggest games on PS5, it may be worth downloading if players enjoy first-person shooters or games with a strong narrative.

Metro – The Future is Apocalyptic Exodus was released in 2019 after a long period of development by 4A Games, a studio split between Malta and Kyiv. It was a commercial success – and according to the Embracer Group (which now owns Deep Silver) – it continues to be so.
