Definitely a shootable pistol, though less comfortable to shoot than most 9mm subcompacts. The grip texture does a good job here. I found it to be plenty accurate for serious business at close range, but less so than my Glock 43 at 10-15 yards. The 3.1” barrel is not best suited to great distances.

The polymer frame of the M&P M2. 0 utilizes a rigid, extended stainless steel chassis embedded to frame reduce flex and torque when firing. The pistol comes with 4 interchangeable grip inserts to find the perfect palmswell fit and trigger-to-backstrap length for each individual shooter's hand.

The Smith & Wesson M&P (Military and Police) is a polymer-framed, short recoil operated, locked breech semi-automatic pistol introduced in the summer of 2005 by the American company Smith & Wesson.

The gun stands 4.6 inches tall, 0.95 inches wide and is 6.1 inches long. (The M2. 0 is the same.) Capacity is 7 or 8 rounds of 9mm, depending on the magazine (there's a flush-fit and extended) which is reduced by one round if you carry the .

The M&P Shield 2.0 comes with two magazines, a flush magazine that holds 7 rounds and an extended 8-round magazine. While the 8-round mag does provide an additional round, it also gives a fuller grip if you're someone with bigger hands. We consider this pretty decent capacity for a single-stack subcompact 9mm.
