Samsung Galaxy Book is a line of Microsoft Windows based portable personal computers. It was first launched in 2017, replacing the previous Samsung Ativ. series The Galaxy Book is a sub-brand of Samsung Galaxy, but unlike those it runs on Windows software instead.

Samsung also announced an $899 Galaxy Book2 360 model and a new Galaxy Book2 Business laptop with a 16:10 Anti-Glare display with RJ45 and HDMI ports. The new Galaxy Book2 Pro and Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 preorders start March 18 and ship on April 1. The Book2 Pro starts at $1,050, while the 360-model begins at $1,250.

Samsung has had great success with its Galaxy Book computers in recent years. Several of them have received top marks in my tests and I run the lively, luxurious and above all wonderfully light OLED 13-inch Galaxy Book 2 Pro from 2022 as my own laptop.

Both the Galaxy Book2 Pro and the Galaxy Book2 have an FHD (Full High Definition) screen which means you can view your content in 1080p resolution. However, the Galaxy Book2 Pro tops the Galaxy Book2 with its impressive Super AMOLED screen which means the colours are more bright and vivid.

For one thing, every single Galaxy Book 2 360, Galaxy Book 2 Pro, and Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 comes with an AMOLED display. Also, that's actually new to the non-Pro model, so that's a big plus. The other reason it's great is that it's 1080p instead of 4K, so it doesn't suck down battery life as much.

The Galaxy Book Pro is one of few 13-inch OLED laptops you can buy (and some of the others out there have… problems), and one of the more affordable OLED devices out there, period. Note that this is a 1920 x 1080 OLED screen - it's visibly more pixel-y than the 4K panels that you'll often see on OLED workstations.
